Dry ceramic

Dry ceramic

Dear Valid,
Please find attached the specification for solid surface facade substructure.
I kindly ask you to send us pricing taking into account we have few projects and lot of clients to resell, so we will order more after having the prices.
Can you please also write down the weights of each element (pcs, or linear meters weight)?
Can we have a call by whatsapp and discuss every position?

To make it clear I attached sketches of elements we need and Chinese company offer with pictures.

Thank you in advance. Best regards.

Sincerely,
Serezha Mkheyan

My name is Sergey from Yerevan Armenia.
Please send me catalogs and weights of each element.

Hello. We are from Valid Aluminum Company, and initially, we received photos from you indicating that the details you drew in the pictures resemble the dry ceramic detail, and in the second detail, there is a louver that these louvers are likely to be rotational because they were shown in the photo in a rotational manner, but what is apparently in this photo is a material such as terracotta or, for example, dry brick that is applied in a dry manner, and you want to apply it on the facade of this building that you sent us the raw photo for. This was my interpretation of the photos and the conversations you sent.

Secondly, I want to know which of these items you want us to execute for you. We need to know the dimensions, color, and more details about the execution. Do you only want to purchase the material from us, or do you want us to execute it as well? Should our team come there to execute it for you, or should we provide the assembled material to you? You presented various models in all of these three cases you sent me. There was terracotta brick, louver, and dry ceramic that you sent me a photo of, but in your written explanation, you only mentioned dry ceramic, which with the AL system, which we call bracket, is installed one-sided and two-sided. If you want it, we can provide you with the aluminum for it, we can provide you with the execution plan, and we can also provide you with its assembled version. You need to specify the details for us.

Do you specify the ceramic, meaning you buy it and provide it to us, or do we provide you with the price along with the ceramic, and what model of ceramic are you talking about? You mentioned Keil, which is an anchoring system, and you also mentioned L, T, which is a dry ceramic system. It is likely that you obtained the information from various sources to gather more information. In terms of details, please explain more to me so that I can send you the details and sample photos related to the work we want to execute for you. Additionally, I want to know what your role and responsibility are in this project and whether our exchange of information is with you as our financial and work counterpart, or if there is someone else who is the project manager and decision-maker. Because we receive inquiries from installers for executing other projects. You should let us know what price you execute it for. Then, they give the price to the client. We need to know what our business policy with you is, whether we provide you with a partnership price or a customer price.

The third issue is the exchange of goods, which we want to know how the exchange of goods is done. Do you handle the cost of exchanging goods from Iran to that country, or do we? Do we coordinate the customs clearance in your country, or do you? These need to be clarified. The next issue is the transfer of money. Do you coordinate the money transfer from there to here? In this case, we send the goods from Iran to you. Do you pay in Rials in Iran, and do we give you the goods at your factory gate without sending them and dealing with customs, or not? Do you give us the money at your workshop, and we have to take care of all the expenses until we deliver the material to you? If you only want the material, you need to specify these details so that we can calculate the required quantity.

Regarding the louver, we have two types: a movable louver and a box louver. We have the molds prepared because I expect that your volume is not high. Considering the roles you sent, the rotation volume of your louver is not very high, and this louver, which has a low rotation, needs to use the ready-made molds we have for the movable louver. We have sizes 10 cm and 20 cm because we expect that your volume is not high. We have sizes 10 and 20, and we can execute them for you along with the necessary accessories.

We need the height of the louver to provide a quote, and we need the width of the window you want to install for all windows in detail to calculate how many items we need for your louvers and how many panels fit per square meter when rotating next to each other. For example, if we assume that we work with 20 in 1 m² of louver, we don’t consider 5 items per square meter. We consider 4.5 items by placing them 4 cm apart because they do not overlap, and we need a 2 cm distance between them. That 2 cm is added, meaning it becomes 90 cm. We need to arrange the number of items next to each other, and approximately four and a half louvers fit in 1 m², and we need to calculate the fixtures for these 4.5 items. This is how we calculate all the dimensions of your windows, both in terms of height and width of the window, for all windows that will receive the movable louver. And also whether you want them to overlap or not. Overlapping means that if we want to calculate a louver of 20 in 1 m², instead of counting 20, we count about 25 louvers in 1 m², and about 5.5 louvers per square meter are placed next to each other. If we overlap more, it becomes a tighter condition, and 6 louvers are used. For this reason, detailed information is required.

Regarding the dry ceramic, as I mentioned to you, we can offer you two pricing models: one for selling the material and the other for selling it with execution. For the latter case, we need to proceed as follows: we need to receive precise drawings from you, perform shop calculations, and then calculate the material. This has a separate cost for our company, which we consider separately in the calculations and then calculate the material based on your drawings. We estimate the material and then go to the phase of determining the prices that come with it, meaning that you need this much material. Then you need to inquire about the price. Afterward, we will inform you of the price and then proceed with the execution, which is at this price. In the second case, we provide a price in such a way that we only give you the material price. This material pricing is such that you need to send us a prepared list of materials you are calculating for us. For example, you need 150 T profiles and 100 L profiles, in our terms, it’s 150 double profiles and 100 single profiles. You need to list all the screws and other details one by one. For example, it’s 10, 15 items, assume, rubber bumpers, washers, and other necessary items one by one. We need to price them item by item based on this.

1. We will need all these details for facade substructure system.
2. material is acrylic solid surface (manufactured in India, Durlax) 12 mm. I wrote this few times.
3. Colour does not matter.
4. We also need rotating louvres. I wrote it few times.
5. What detail you need more? Ask and I will answer.
6. We only need material. We assemble it ourselves in Armenia. I wrote it few times.
7. We also have ceramic facades. This is another question. If you give us good price then we will explain ceramic facades. Now let’s focus on that system I sent you.
8. We can only work with partnership price. I’m Deputy CEO, decision-maker. We are trade, engineering and construction company. We do everything for our clients.

We work internationally with companies from Europe, Russia, China, Iran, India. We do not have any problems transferring money and goods.
If we have partnership we can work.

We need 1500m2 of louvres.
20cm
Rotating
Height is 3000mm
What questions you have?

I sent you email with specifications.

Come visit Armenia please or let us have a business meeting online.
Thank you.

Can you just tell me what is the partnership price for 1 kg aluminium system?

Hello, I’ve sent you details about the two models of dry ceramic systems we have along with their dimensions and specifications. We also have several models of dry stone systems, and I’ll send you the catalog separately because it’s not available on the website. We haven’t invested much in bulk sales of this system because of that, but we have the templates and can produce them for you. I’ll also send you the dimensions. We’ll send you the prices as part of our collaboration since you mentioned having several projects. Just let us know if you’re a contractor yourself with multiple projects or if you represent a company specializing in installing dry stone or ceramic systems across multiple projects.

We’re available for future orders as well. Each item’s weight is mentioned on our website, and I’ll also send you the details from the catalog. We have both phone and WhatsApp contact, but I couldn’t coordinate with the company translator today to reach you by phone and have an instant conversation. I’ll try to arrange that tomorrow morning so we can have the translator join our phone calls and have real-time discussions. I’ll also try to have our technical team review it today, but if they didn’t manage to understand it, I’ll ensure they do tomorrow. If they did, great; if not, I’ll do my best. If you had sent a voice message or text today specifying what you needed, I would’ve responded within half an hour. So, let’s try to communicate through voice messages from now on; it’s faster, especially considering the WhatsApp restrictions in Iran.

Thank you for reaching out; we’re glad to establish this connection and hope to strengthen it further. I’m Mohsen Motabarzadeh, and we’re in touch to bring this project to fruition. Usually, when we start a collaboration, our initial focus isn’t just on numbers, prices, and details; we aim to provide you with at least a minimum price so we can work together. Even if the first project doesn’t bring profit to us, we’re still committed to collaborating with you at the agreed price, as long as there’s production for us. We’ll definitely cooperate with you. If that table you sent suggests potential collaborations with Chinese partners, consider the quality of their products as well; it’s usually the same worldwide. Compare the quality of Chinese products with others. Sometimes, our prices have been higher due to better quality. Dry ceramics are often used as substructures, where quality isn’t as crucial, but in curtain wall projects, we found ourselves offering higher prices initially. However, when we sent a 5×10 cm sample to Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, our quality was evident. They understood why our prices were higher and what quality we provide. If you’re solely focused on low prices, let us know; we have Grade 2 materials, which we powder coat. You don’t always need Grade 1 materials for substructures; some Canadian projects also use Grade 2 because the substructure doesn’t require Grade 1 materials. You can use Grade 2 materials with a powder coat for your substructure. Recently, in Somalia, we won a bid where our price was lower than all three competitors’. We’re on the verge of negotiations to proceed with the project based on our drawings. However, after we won the project, issues arose with the execution plans. Given the lack of detailed proposals (though this doesn’t apply to your project; your plans are suitable), they provided very basic and strange details. Conversations with any of the collaborating engineers confirmed that these details, being so basic, may not even work up to the fifth or sixth floor. After discussions, we brought in a bit stronger glass and reinforced the laminate with the project manager.

We sent specification sir, can you please tell me, what questions do you have step by step, for each element?
Is it clear or not?

I cannot see the weights of each elements on website.
I ask kindly to send the prices and weights in the excel specification that I sent you before.

Hello, we’re very pleased to have connected with a reputable company like yours. We’re keen on continuing business with you. We also operate an aluminum production factory and a general contracting office for projects in Iran, Iraq, and other places. However, we haven’t expanded much into that yet and would love to collaborate with you to potentially broaden our scope. For instance, regarding a project we have in Africa, if you could offer us a competitive price, we’d be happy to introduce you as the contractor. We’ll provide the aluminum, and you’ll handle the execution, provided you accept our aluminum offer. It’s excellent that we’ve connected. Yes, I’m aware you don’t have much time to spare. We couldn’t determine your exact needs and quantities from the Excel sheet provided by our technical team, so we’re reaching out to you. However, the price you mentioned is acceptable to us, and we can offer you the powder-coated material at that price. Though, if the powder coating is produced domestically in Iran, we can’t offer the Turkish powder-coated material at the same price since we’d have to procure it at a higher cost. Nonetheless, we can match your proposed price for our own aluminum and powder coating and deliver it to your factory. This way, we can collaborate effectively. If you’re willing, we’re okay with the price at 3.8, although we’ve made adjustments from various aspects to reach this figure. However, we can sell to you at this rate. Of course, there are many questions. I asked this question in the group to see if the price we’re aiming for aligns with what you can offer. Sometimes, we consult with Turkish trader friends who demand prices that we can’t meet under any circumstances. But the price you’ve stated, we can reach an agreement, provided your payment terms are suitable for us and you choose the profiles you need from our catalog. Together, we can consider the quantities. We can provide you with the profiles at this price, and you can procure other necessary items such as anchors and screws locally. Our team will provide the required components along with the system to you. Yes, I’ve also followed up with the team on the website. We extracted the weight from the review we had on the site. I’ll send you the catalog separately with the weights. Please recheck the system, but the figure you stated is feasible for us to finalize agreements together, considering the preparations we’ve made. I believe that if we have a good cooperation, we can establish long-term collaboration. We’re also looking for business partners. Our goal in reducing the price is to kickstart cooperation with you; it’s not our actual price. However, we’ve reduced the price. Despite aluminum prices increasing globally, we’ve reduced ours, showing our interest in collaborating with you. Moreover, I’ve reviewed your catalog and website, and both seem to have a good reputation with attractive works across various types. While we operate on a smaller scale in this field, focusing on dry facade ceramics, curtain walls, louvers, and movable structures, we don’t handle complete building facades. Our expertise lies in dry facade works specifically. Similarly, we produce dry facade profiles specializing in this area, both in high and low quality. As discussed with colleagues, our factory manager mentioned that we take certain precautions and collaborate with government agencies and others to bring our price closer to what you’re seeking.

Your catalog was very impressive and appealing. I enjoyed seeing your works.

Can I explain our excel specification?
Is position 1 clear?
Please ask questions and we will answer all.
We can make it clear all today and we need pricing of each element.

Now, we’re negotiating to ensure calculations are done accurately so the workmanship is top-notch, allowing us to move towards engineering it smoothly. And about the engineering aspect, even though the Chinese collaborator offered a very preliminary and light system at a lower price, they were still more expensive than us in the bid.

However, thank God, we’re currently negotiating. We presented our price, but it made the client doubt our initial details, raising suspicions. It took a while to regain their trust through negotiations with project engineers and managers. We emphasized that our details adhere to international curtain wall standards. After reviewing, they consulted with reputable companies known for their engineering excellence. They found that our details were recommended, questioning the Chinese company’s approach as they realized it lacked in calculations and focused solely on reducing prices. They agreed to move forward with us because when they compared our price with those reputable companies, they found similar quality but significantly lower prices. Now they’re willing to continue working with us, and we’re on the verge of discussing contract details, accommodation, and other specifics.

Regarding the movable louver system you mentioned, we can indeed produce the raw profiles of the 10×20 cm louvers we have, which are actually 22 cm wide and quite cost-effective. We can also engineer the system for you, send it unassembled, meaning we’ll manufacture what you need and send it to you unassembled, with screws and details packaged for you to assemble, ensuring it fits into containers efficiently. You can then reopen it at your site, either with assistance via video call or directly with me. However, sending the movable system along with its components entails additional costs. It’s about twice the cost of a fixed system, so I’ll provide you with an approximate estimate. We’ll include the price for assembling the movable system, as well as the necessary tools, fittings, and the motor. You mentioned needing 1,500 m² of 20 cm louvers, each 3 meters in height. We’re currently executing such a project in Jahan Dasht City. We’re also working on a 10-meter height louver system for an oil company without any issues. We’re in the process of calculating the total cost. Do you only need the louvers, or do you require all the accessories as well? In some projects, the client insists on 20×22 cm louvers, which sometimes don’t fit. In such cases, we have to introduce shafts within regular louvers, creating a different connection point. Sometimes, if your order is significant, we need separate orders, reaching about 6 to 8 tons to make molds for you. However, it takes time to place mold orders and have them ready to produce different sizes for you. If you have 1,500 m² of 20 cm louvers, we need to determine if you want overlapping or non-overlapping louvers. Overlapping involves half the louvers, and sometimes one louver has a length difference. For 1,500 m², which is 7,500 half meters, considering each louver weighs 3 kilograms, you’ll need around 22,000 kilograms of aluminum. Given the global increase in aluminum prices, it’s best to place your order as soon as possible to avoid price hikes. The order will be registered promptly, and the price won’t increase because we buy the raw material for you and store it in our warehouse. Storing it in our warehouse won’t incur extra costs for you. Only the labor cost remains, which doesn’t increase. This collaboration benefits you as well, and we can have a mutually beneficial partnership.

we are a holding company, we trade, we are general contractor with multiple projects and clients and we install everything for our projects and for our clients.

Can we speed up and get the prices today please, we do not have much time to wait,
thank you.

this file I sent you the last week

If you need me to make it clear we can go step by step and discuss each element.
Just ask me questions please.

Please explain column by column what these abbreviations you wrote mean, and if possible, provide these explanations in the voice message. Thank you.

Hello. We routinely produce several models that are more commonly used in Iran, and we have the molds for them. The price we can offer you is suitable if you use our molds and find the product you want in our catalog. Please identify it by number and let us know that you want this model from our existing catalogs. We can provide it to you at the price you mentioned as being good for you. I spoke with our production manager, and they said that if you provide us with AutoCAD or DWG files, we can create molds for you. We can make any amount and any model you want. We will produce and extrude the models based on the pictures you sent us, and punch them according to the quantity you need, based on the file you sent us. However, our punching machine is not multi-model; that is, we don’t have machines that can punch eight or ten holes simultaneously like some Turkish and Chinese factories do. We don’t have such machines in Iran, but we can punch or drill holes one by one according to the blueprint you give us, using a laser for the dimensions you specify. This will increase our price by about one-tenth of a dollar per kilo, meaning we can’t give it to you for $3.80; we can give it to you for $4.00. This is the price in the Iranian currency market. I don’t know if you are aware, but we have two types of prices in our currency market: a free market price and a government price. In this fluctuating market, our numbers may vary, and the price we quote you is based on these fluctuations. We have the molds available for the catalog with the blue background, the pique patterns on our website, and the separate pictures I sent you. We can produce these for you at a reasonable price because we don’t have the time to quickly produce new molds for you, nor will it lead to a price increase. Usually, in Iran, when time affects something, we see a price increase over time. For example, if we were to give you aluminum at $3.80 in two months, we wouldn’t give it to you for $4.20 because the price will have gone up by then. It’s not that the price is $3.80 now and will still be $3.80 in two months; it will be more expensive. Prices in Iran gradually increase, and this increase in mold making has its own cost. That’s why we suggest that you use the systems we have available in our catalog for your project. Another suggestion we have is about a project we currently have in Somalia. When we give them the price of the material alone, our price is roughly equal to, or even slightly higher than, the prices given by Indian and Chinese companies. The reason for this is not entirely clear to me because the Iranian stock market operates with the global stock market, and prices in Iran are in dollars, but prices in China are not in dollars; they are in Chinese yuan. However, in Iran, prices are in dollars. When we gave a price for curtain walls in Somalia, including installation, our price came out lower, meaning Iranian installation is more cost-effective than Chinese or Indian installation. If you take both the material and the specialists from Iran, it will be to your advantage. This is a suggestion we have for you, and it would be better if you take the material from Iran to also take the installers from Iran because the people who work in Iran are experts in installing the systems we provide you, which you can choose from our catalog. This way, you won’t have any mold-making costs, and your installation costs will be lower compared to other installers currently working. We have this experience from our other pricing, so now you can calculate the two prices.

Hello Mr. Sergio,
Based on the T5 and T6 treatments you have ordered, we will provide you with the 6063 alloy, which is our standard billet. The T5 and T6 you mentioned refer to the heat treatment processes of cooling after production, which we call aging. Aging is a process that occurs after we extrude the profile.

But if we want to calculate the mold cost with you, approximately ten cents to twenty cents is added to the amount per kilo that is added to the amount. The estimated price of mold making is that if we do not have your mold, for example, bracket 6 and 10 that you sent now, we want to make it, 20 cents is added to it per kilo for making the mold, in addition to the fact that making that mold takes one month of our time, meaning we have to give the mold to be made for us, when it is made and ready, we bring it and start production from it, this one month is the time to make a quality mold.
Regarding the brackets, since we have several different models and need to propose to you, we have considered them in a separate table for you, which includes several different items of our production. And the price is ex-factory, meaning we have not considered all the factors that would lead to exports, we have only considered the ex-factory delivery price in Iran for you to compare, and you must tell us what options you want so that we can add to this price. This means whether you want us, for example, to take a trailer to the border and deliver it to you, and you only do the export customs work there, or we do it. After we have done the customs on the Iranian side, you clear the customs on your side and do the rest, or we do it. And how is the transportation in your country, whether you do it to the destination or we do it. You have to explain to us one by one what kind of details you need so that we can calculate the prices based on the details you say and add to this number. These are the prices that we can currently give you in Iran, considering the fluctuations and ups and downs of global aluminum prices. And this price is also an instant and up-to-date price. Tomorrow or the day after, you have to inquire from us again, we will calculate for you again and announce the new price to you. The way of selling in Iran is that the price is instant. Globally, the instant price of aluminum is also determining.
The way to explain that separate table that I sent you a picture of is that the first column is the number of punches that each piece takes. The second column is the length of the bracket used, meaning, for example, we cut from a six-meter branch four centimeters to twenty-seven centimeters, which we gave you the price for. Columns three and four onwards to the end are different bracket models with different wing sizes, meaning, for example, we put fifty by fifty by five, meaning a bracket with a small wing of five centimeters, a large wing of five centimeters, and the thickness of the aluminum flesh of that bracket is five millimeters. Or we put 70 by 30 by 3, the large wing of the bracket is 7, the small wing of the bracket is 3, and the thickness of the aluminum flesh is also 3, in this way three centimeters and three millimeters. In this way, we have put different sizes and calculated the price of each kilogram of aluminum separately. This number that was announced to you before, we estimated this number at $3.2 ex-factory, and we considered that half a dollar also includes the side costs of sending to the border and other details and administrative work and option reviews that we added to this amount that we told you we can provide you with $3.8, and it is approximately the same range. We have the mold, and now we can start manufacturing for you. Regarding that specific punch that you hit now sent, you have to give us a sample, give us the exact dimensions, we can also hit it for you, but according to the sample and the exact dimensions of AutoCAD, we can hit it for you, and if we want to make a mold for you, bracket 6 and 10 and in your H sections that are different, you want different structures, the amount of your order must be large enough to be worth making the mold, usually the goal is exactly between 2 to 3 tons in each model profile, the goal is the minimum order so that we can make a mold worth making, and you pay half of the mold cost, and we pay half, and that mold remains for us at the end, but if over time, meaning that you have a consumption of 6 tons from this mold next year and buy from us, even if you buy 500 kilos 500 kilos from us, it is still worth it for us to make the mold.

For you, but you initially have to give us a contractual or ethical or financial commitment that you will buy 6 tons from us in the future, considering the amount that we tell you, we consider a base, and with that base, you reorder.

At this stage, the profile is soft and not yet usable. You are more expert in this operation, but as you know, after production, we heat the profile in a furnace to increase its hardness and then cool it down. This cooling is followed by the aging process again. We define the level of hardness, and our understanding of the T5 and T6 that you require is equivalent to the aging heat treatment we use in Iran, which we refer to as aging. Typically, we provide an aging level of 10 or 11 in the market based on orders, but we believe that your T5 is equivalent to our aging level of 12 or 14, meaning you require a higher hardness for the aluminum. Therefore, you have considered T5 and T6 for your purchase. If this is correct, please suggest an aging level so we can offer you a price based on that. For example, if you want an aging level of 14, this is our price.
If you have specific information about the aging process that you can share with us, please let us know which aging level you would like to have, and we will announce the price for that level. However, for now, we will inform you of the usual aging level of 11 to 12, which is our routine production. We think it might be T4, and we will announce the price to you tomorrow. When we have more time, along with the rest of our profile samples, we will send you those that have our aging level so you can conduct any tests you need according to your personal assessment or laboratory requirements. We will deliver this to you, and you can place your order based on the aging level if you can specify it, or if not, we can consult with our colleagues to find specifications based on the T5 that you mention and make an equivalent.
Please let us know if this meets your requirements or if there are any other details you would like to discuss.

Best regards, motabarzadeh

Dry ceramic

I do not understand what exactly do you mean?
Estrich, tester and iajing ??? What does these words mean?

What is edge of Aluminum?

where do you buy billets?

But do you use billets or melted aluminum from scrap recyclable aluminum?

Also, what is T box?
You can send us the sample of all your profiles for façade substructure
and also few undercut anchors, we will test
you have our address

Can you please send us photos and videos from your production plant?
We want to see every operation.

We procure billets from Iran Aluminium Company, providing you with grade 6063. We can supply it with a hardness scale (measured by the Iranian standard) of 10-11 and up to 14, which we believe matches your T6 hardness of 14. We will send you samples, but it will take some time to produce and ship them. We will try to also send you anchors.
The cost of sending samples via T-Box air mail from here to anywhere in the world depends on the weight of the sample and package; the higher the weight, the higher the price. It costs between $65 to $170. We usually send by ground and through intermediaries, as T-Box is expensive. If you are in a hurry to receive all the samples, it will likely cost $170. If you are only in a hurry for the anchors and brackets, we can send those by T-Box and the rest of the profiles through intermediaries to lower the cost.
What is your suggestion? If the amount is not an issue for you, we can send everything by T-Box since you will be paying the shipping costs. We can discuss the costs and these details later.
“Hardness” is a term for the hardness level of aluminium in Iran. If you want the highest hardness, our sales figure will change and it will be more expensive. However, if you want the routine aluminium that is commonly used, the previous price remains the same. Based on the sample, you can determine whether you need the common Iranian aluminium or not.

Hello! We have sent you two tables. One is your own Excel table, in which we have specified a number. That number is the price of the rest of the hardware that we have considered for you in your own Excel and given to you.
